Low-cost carrier Ryanair is in talks with Boeing to purchase 150 to 200 737 MAX aircraft, Irish media reported on Friday. An order could be placed before the end of this year for a value of at least $ 18.7 billion based on list prices.

The American aircraft manufacturer is also facing the consequences of the coronavirus crisis in the aviation sector. Orders for new planes have fallen.

Earlier this month, Polish Enter Air placed the first order of this year's 737 MAX, while Boeing is expected to register numerous cancellations for the same model at the same time.
